Adobe has announced that it would no longer new mobile devices (chips, browser, OS version, etc.) the development of Flash Player, but rather to focus on the PC on Flash, focused on Flash for mobile devices to help Flash developers use Adobe AIR to develop native applications for all App Store, there is HTML5 and other web technologies.

In July of this year, Google released the Android 4.1 system, Adobe said that they did not continue to the new version of the Android development and testing Flash Player Android 4.1 will not run Flash Player.
On mobile devices, Adobe has made great efforts to but Apple shut out. In April 2010, Steve Jobs has published an open letter, iPhone, iPod and iPad will not enable Flash. Jobs criticized Flash for mobile device reliability, security, battery life and performance, and suggested that Adobe should focus more on creating HTML5 tools.
Microsoft had planned to launch the Flash Windows 8, but because HTML5 is not mature in the market, Microsoft chose to Flash Player built-in IE browser.
Currently, Flash on the desktop still has advantages, such as the Google Chrome browser support Flash.
